S.H.I.E.L.D Infirmary

Hospitals suck. You know what I mean when I say that, too. I don't put up a fuss when they try to save my life (not that I need that help often), but when they give me that backless gown to walk around in...I'm not so willing. I expected S.H.I.E.L.D's infirmary to have at least SOME class when it came to that department, but apparently while I was out, I was slipped into one of those gowns anyway.
...At least the breeze is nice.
Agent Preston (which I had come to understand was the lady from the subway's name) was watching over me, when a balding man who was obviously going thro

Chapter Two
You know, I always used to say that one day something from the past would come back to destroy us, but no one ever believed me. Hell, I didn't believe it myself most of the time, considering, you know...Death is a permanent thing, but hey. I'm still around.
And yet...There he was, good old F.D.R rolling towards us and shaking his undead fist in the air.
…I think the officer next to me may have peed a little.
“Stop and drop, uh...Mister President!” said the officer, trying to sound like he had guts. But really, it just came out as a confused and misguided grumble. Poor guy. The message carried nonetheless.

Man, some days, I just feel like nothing is going my way. You know the type of days I’m talking about…A typical Monday in which you can’t help but fight a gigantic four-armed dinosaur that’s trying to be menacing, but really feels like a Godzilla rip-off a little far from home. Yeah, it feels like a Monday, for sure.
The name's Wade Wilson. Or as you might know me, That One Guy With the Red And Black Sock on His Head: Deadpool. I'm a mercenary, and that means I don't have a boss. I just work for the people who have the most moolah. And that's just the way I like i
Crescendo (A Marvel and DC Comics crossover)
By Erik Copper
Prologue: A Warped Joke
"Oh, Batsy, you pathetic little fool, you. Haven't you learned never to underestimate me? I know all your little tricks, Bats, and you certainly haven't learned any new ones. Get ready, cause this'll be one hell of a punch line. Ha ha!"
"Joker, no! You don't know what you're doing! You'll destroy the world with that thing!"
"Oh really? You probably shouldn't have told me that, Batsy. The promise of destruction is oh-so-very-tempting."
"I'm warning you, Joker. That machine will destroy everything, including you!"
"Ah, an out, eh?"
"Don't do this!"

Out There
They exist. It's true, they really do. I never thought it was possible to have intelligent life other than us, but they exist. I'm still having a hard time processing all of the information, but I swear I saw them. They move like us, talk in some incomprehensible language, and live among the stars.
They are aliens.
I first saw them while I was star-gazing. There was a flash of light in the sky, and a shuttle, different from the ones we have, appeared in the sky.
I stared at its long sleek shape in awe. It has an insignia on the side of it, which I assumed was the name of their race. It was so impossible to decipher, I can only d

Hey there, journal. It's me, June. Wow, how long has it been since I kept one of these? I think the last time I had one was about a year before mom died. It seems so long ago, but it's only been a few years. I'd imagine mom is doing better without us, but I still miss her. Dad wasn't the best of people to me during mom's illness, and after she died he got even worse. I still remember this one time he said something that really hurt me...
I stood there, staring at this beautiful necklace that was draped around a mannequins neck. I felt my breath catch in my throat as I looked at it. They were just like the one's mom us

My memory is gone...
Colors return
All these shades and hues

Vibrant reds and blues.

I can't recall the exact location
Or even where to begin.
I look at my surroundings
And gather what I can
There isn't much to see
Except for a sleeping man.
Wait, is he sleeping?
Or is he simply playing
I just can't shake the feeling
That he's doing more than laying.
I make my way over
To wake the sleeping man
I stop when I suddenly realize
He is holding a black can
His face is very simila

Ruin
My soul made of black, the repute of my misgivings,
My mind lay crushed, restricting me from further living,
I feel nothing anymore, not a slight tinge of life,
Desolate on the inside, with nothing more left but strife.
Memories of joy, abandoned me in sorrow,
Drained of my will, a leader not one will follow,
The intervals of agony, listen as they state:
"What a poor fool, condemned to his horrid fate."
My devastation has come, my truly unexpected fall,
Empty of all hope, with nothing else left at all,
No emotions to be left, no thoughts to be seen,
May my death be swift, ruin be upon my grave.
You've heard the name. You've seen the moves. You know the way sing and grooves. (Unintentional rhyme FTW!) You have heard everything about him, whether it be news of him allegedly molesting a child, or his history. One thing cannot be denied when hearing about this man, though:
He was big.
Yes, indeed he was. There were so many fans of him, that he was dubbed, "The King of Pop." What a kind he was.
From his days in the Jackson 5, he had captured people hearts, and held them throughout his solo career.
That's not what this article is about though. No, oh no.
This is about him as a person, and what I think of him. Relax, I like him. For a
